Founder of Fogelberg Consulting
Fogelberg Consulting started almost by accident - after leaving my role running one of New Zealand’s leading commercial finance brokerage firms, a few people asked me to consult with them. Demand quickly grew. Business owners were facing uncertainty and needed more than just generic advice - they needed someone to challenge their thinking, provide clarity, and help them follow through.
I realised that while large organisations have access to high-level strategic advisors, the average business owner in New Zealand was largely left to figure things out alone.
So I kept building Fogelberg Consulting - to help ambitious founders cut through complexity, make better decisions, and move forward with confidence, no matter how big or small their business.

A timeline of growth and evolution:
Fogelberg Consulting was born after I stepped back from the corporate world. I wanted to stay professionally active and after 6 months off, felt ready to bring that real-world experience to those who needed it most - founders navigating growth on their own.
As the pandemic hit, demand surged. I supported a wide range of business owners - across construction, manufacturing, professional services, medical, retail and beyond - to bring structure, calm and clarity to uncertain times. My client portfolio filled, and I committed to building a business that could truly scale its impact.
February: Launched the On Track Group.
April: Held the first Intensive Strategy Workshops, now Strategy Days.
July: Opened the Success Studio at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park – a venue designed to fuel big-picture thinking, and one that helps clients step away from their day-to-day noise.
I launched Business Success Express, an online course designed to make practical strategy more accessible to smaller business owners. It’s now a cornerstone for early-stage businesses wanting to build strong foundations.
Relaunched my podcast, On Track with Lani, from the FC Success Studio - sharing hard-won business insights and real-world lessons from working closely with founders across industries.
Launched the LinkedIn newsletter “Business Success Tips” - attracting 4,000+ subscribers in just a few months. It’s now a leading channel for sharing practical advice, strategic frameworks, and mindset shifts for business owners. My Substack publication surged off the back of this and ultimately replaced the Podcast.
Fogelberg Consulting serves clients across New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the UAE. Whether working with a $500k trades business or a $10m+ operation, my focus remains the same - helping business owners make smart, confident decisions that move them forward.
I’ve worked across transport, professional services, construction, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and beyond - but for me, it’s not about the industry or business size. It’s about values.
My experience in business and own personal success means I’m able to go far beyond that typical “business coach” scope we seem to be seeing more and more of. Keeping clients accountable and tuning their personal mindset toward increasing performance is an important part of my work, but providing real perspectives and insights drawing on that actual operational experience across a vast number of industries, combined with my approach, is why people tend to choose Fogelberg Consulting. I’m known for pushing people hard, and helping them get out of their heads and into action.
